Athene Galiciadis

Athene Galiciadis lives and works in Zurich. Her work includes sculpture, painting drawing and installation. From 2003 to 2005 she attended the Zurich University of the Arts, and in 2007 she completed her studies at the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL). Her work has been presented in various group and solo exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. In 2011 she was awarded the Swiss Art Award and the Prix Mobilière. In 2012 she received a personal contribution from the UBS Cultural Foundation. In 2020 she will show her work at the Atelier Hermann Haller in Zurich and the Aargauer Kunsthaus in Aarau.
