Maya Bringolf

In her practice, Maya Bringolf is interested in circuits and systems in the broadest sense. In various transformation processes such as burning, perforating and cutting, but also addition and combination, she examines objects in the context of their spaces and social functions. In doing so, she exposes precarious conditions, tensions and interactions between bodies, objects and spaces. The ruinous is thereby a metaphor for a late capitalist working world as well as for the vulnerable bodies that move in these worlds.
